The Solitaire du Figaro: Lufthansa finishes 14th out of 45

The goal of ending up in the top third was achieved

With some very varied weather, a course offering a range of conditions with both coastal races and offshore racing, and a number of exciting moments, the 2010 Solitaire du Figaro wil remain for the organisers and skippers one of the best vintages of the past ten years.

Ronan Treussart on Lufthansa achieved his goal: ending up in the top fifteen. "The boat was in great shape, sailed well and everything worked perfectly. This final leg was sheer pleasure with everyone sailing downwind averaging 12 knots, so there was nothing to complain about. The weather was all over the place, there was a great line-up, and so finishing 14th out of 45 is a good result. And great motivation for the Cap Istanbul next month" declared Ronan Treussart, when he finished in Cherbourg.
