Suzuki Prologue: Lufthansa finishes second

With two days to go to the start of the Solitaire du Figaro, Lufthansa takes second place in the Suzuki Prologue, just behind the current French champion

A lively warm-up for the prologue to the Solitaire du Figaro: in light airs (8 knots easing off towards the end) and a current across the water, it took four starts to get them underway. After two hours of racing, it was the French Ocean Racing Champion, Gildas Morvan on Cercle Vert who won this prologue finishing ahead of Ronan Treussart (Lufthansa) and Thomas Rouxel (Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne). 

The prologue was also an opportunity to give a final check up to ensure that everything was working well on board under race conditions, and to pick up some clues about the sailing area with two days to go to the start of the Solitaire du Figaro on Tuesday 27th July
